The Health & Wellness Committee will play a pivotal role in promoting health equity, supporting wellness initiatives, and empowering both our members and the broader community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact while strengthening our chamber's role as a leader in advocacy and resource development.

 

Mission

To promote health equity, advocate for wellness, and empower individuals and businesses in the Black community by providing education, resources, and partnerships that prioritize holistic health and well-being.

Goals

• Foster health education and awareness initiatives.

• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, fitness experts, and wellness advocates.

• Serve as a resource for chamber members hosting health-focused events.

• Advocate for Black-owned businesses in the health and wellness sector.

• Provide mentorship and resources for business development in the wellness industry.

• Track health outcomes and community engagement to assess the success of initiatives.
