Health & Wellness Committee Meeting

As part of our monthly Health & Wellness Committee series, this panel will bring together community members and health advocates to explore the importance of preventive care, healthy lifestyles, mental wellness, and chronic disease prevention among men. Attendees will gain valuable insights, practical health tips, and resources designed to encourage men to take a proactive approach to their overall well-being.

This month's special guests include Councilman Lavander Hearn from the City of Cocoa, a certified EMT/Firefighter, who will provide his unique insights on men's health from the perspectives of public service and emergency response. Our other guest is Dr. Brysen Thorpe, DC, co-owner of Rooted Chiropractic in Rockledge. The discussion will be led by Amber Baker, Chair of the SCBCC Health & Wellness Committee, and will feature an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
