The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce’s Government & Legislative Affairs Council brings Chamber members, business leaders, community partners, and subject matter experts together to discuss public decisions that affect businesses and workers in Brevard County. Whether you own a business, lead an organization, or work on issues that affect our local economy, the Council is a place to share your perspective, stay informed, and help identify priorities for the Chamber’s advocacy.

Issues we discuss

Council conversations may include employment and workforce development; business and industry retention; housing and living costs; environmental regulations; access to capital; government procurement; and other issues affecting business growth and economic opportunity. The Council develops recommendations for the Chamber’s consideration; official policy positions remain with the Chamber.

Policy & Progress: Government & Legislative Council Conversations

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Must register to receive meeting link; open to current and future Chamber members.
